Each year as part of the Inala AGM we award the Inala Community Awards, which recognise the services of individuals and groups who have given above and beyond in their support of Inala. This year we were pleased to recognise the following individuals and organisations, along with a special Lifetime Community Award.
Allison Sree
We are grateful to you for your ongoing support of Inala, in particular for your coordination of volunteers from Nexia for more than a decade. Your assistance in recruiting and coordinating volunteers is invaluable as we prepare each year for our biggest community and fundraising event. We thank you for assisting again this year!

We are immensely grateful to you for your long-standing and generous support of Inala, in particular for tirelessly running the Inala Fair BBQ for many years, and greatly contributing to our fundraising efforts as a result. The Inala Lifetime Community Award
At Inala we recognise the significant and long-standing contribution of Inala Members with our Life Member Awards. We also recognise the significant contribution of members of the broader community with our Community Awards.
This new award has been created specifically to recognise the significant and long-standing contribution to Inala by a community group, and is the first award of its kind. We are honoured to give this special award to the West Pennant Hills-Cherrybrook Lions Club in recognition of their 60 years of continuous service to Inala.
Inala was founded on 1 November 1958, and the Eastwood-Epping Club was founded on 13 November 1957 specifically to support and be involved with Inala. The Club supported Inala until the early 1960s when it was decided it would be more practical to establish a club at West Pennant Hills to be closer to Inala.
The West Pennant Hills Lions Club was formed on 28 April 1964 and has been a loyal and generous supporter of Inala for 60 years. That support includes running the chocolate wheel every year since its inception to raise funds at the Annual Inala Fair, advocating for Inala within the local community, and leveraging their extensive network for the benefit of Inala.
Your generous, long-standing and loyal support is momentous, and has made an enormous difference to so many people’s lives. We cannot adequately express our gratitude for your commitment to Inala.
