On Friday 6 December, Miroma participants and staff had a fantastic day out to celebrate International Day for People with Disability, organised by Leah, Rachel and the wonderful Community Development team at Woollahra Council.

Participants, staff and volunteers from Inala, Holdsworth Community and Jewish Care came together to socialise, have some fun and celebrate the contributions, skills and achievements of people with disability.

Luckily the smoke lifted and we all enjoyed a beautiful outdoor setting at Robertson Park, Watsons Bay.

The highlights of the day included an interactive mandala drawing session, colourful and yummy cake decorating and interactive live music, thanks to our friends from A Sound Life.

A great picnic lunch of pita, falafel, hummus and great salads was provided by Pita Mix, our local community café in Rose Bay.
