With the current government restrictions on the number of people gathering in a public space, as well as the risk associated with the health and wellbeing of members of the Inala community, we believe this was the only viable course of action.
Although 25th October may seem some way off, we are making this decision now to ensure those people who work hard in the lead up to the Fair, baking, sewing, sourcing products etc, do not spend time unnecessarily.
We realise this will be very disappointing for many members of the direct Inala and wider community and we will work hard to ensure the Fair in 2021 is bigger and better than ever.
We greatly appreciate all the support we receive for the Fair and will continue to explore other ways to maintain engagement with the wider community.
We will still be going ahead with the fundraising raffle, so for anyone who wishes to donate a prize for this purpose please contact our Events Manager, Georgie O’Reilly, on firstname.lastname@example.org.
