Celebrating 25 years of Ian Hyman Charity Lunch
The annual Charity Lunch was held on July 19th and once again was a great success. This was the 25th year Ian Hyman OAM has organised this event and Inala has been fortunate to be the beneficiary for the past eight years. Over $230,000 was raised on the day, with proceeds going to benefit CNS Precision Assembly and Inala.
The 500 strong audience were captivated by guest speaker Noel Pearson and entertained by MC Paul Murray and comedian Sean Woodland. There was also plenty of opportunity for catching up with friends and enjoying the delicious lunch.
Thank you to the many generous sponsors who were involved in making the event such a success, in particular event sponsors Resicom and Oak Capital, Macquarie Bank, Hall Chadwick, Scottish Pacific, Hymans Valuerers and Acutioneers, One Ocean Expeditions, Fifteen Investments, Langmeil Barossa and O’Leary Walker, Lion Nathan and Austcover.
Funds raised on the day will go towards renovations of an existing building create an alternate support option, with activities and an environment which are tailored to meet the changing needs of older individuals with disability.
We are very grateful for the generous support of everyone who attended the lunch to help us undertake the renovation work required to establish this service, and thank you for your support to enable us to continue to provide much needed services for individuals living with disability.
We look forward to seeing you at the Charity Lunch in 2020. Inala will take a more active role in managing the 2020 event and providing support to the Committee, with Ian taking a slightly less active role.
Thank you to Ian Hyman for his wonderful dedication and commitment to the success of this lunch for 25 years.
