Coolamon welcomes special guests

Last weekend, Dave and Kim from Good Neighbour Plumbing and their friends Ross and Vanessa, enjoyed a BBQ with Coolamon residents. Purchased as an auction prize at the Castle Hill Golf Day, they were hosted by Coolamon residents Peter, Anthony, Tony, David and neighbour Bree!

On the beautiful sunny morning preparations started early including dusting the trophy cabinet and ensuring all rooms were nice and tidy. The kitchen was a hive of activity as the guys helped Non make some superb salads to accompany the with the delicious BBQ meats kindly donated by Wayne at George’s Meats, Cherrybrook.

As the guests arrived they were welcomed with a tour of Coolamon before moving to the backyard to sit around the BBQ, watch Tony displaying his BBQ skills and enjoy the food. Other members of the Inala community joined in on the fun, including Joint CEOs Martin and Rebecca, and staff members Non, Cara (with baby Cooper), Carmen, Mario and Lucy.

Kim, Dave, Ross, Vanessa and all the guests thoroughly enjoyed the experience, Dave expressed his thanks following the event saying “It was a very special and moving day for us and we were touched by the hospitality shown by the boys and all the staff. We really felt like we were part of the family. We are looking forward to making it an annual event and we will certainly take you up on your offer to drop by at other times during the year and are very keen to help in the future!”
